Privacy FAQ
Can I disable the recording LED?
No. The LED is hardwired to the camera power circuit. It cannot be disabled by any software or firmware update. This is a deliberate design choice for privacy and regulatory compliance.
Do you sell my data?
No. We do not sell personal data to third parties. Ever. Our business model is based on hardware sales, premium features, and ecosystem transactions—not data brokerage.
What happens to my data if I delete my account?
All personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days. DePIN contributions that have been anonymized and integrated into the network cannot be individually removed, but they contain no personally identifiable information.
Is the DePIN mapping legal?
We've designed DePIN contributions to comply with privacy laws by blurring faces and license plates on-device before upload. However, users should be aware of local laws regarding photography in public spaces.
Can law enforcement access my recordings?
On-device recordings are encrypted and stored locally. We cannot access them. For cloud-processed data, we comply with valid legal requests but will notify users unless legally prohibited.
